The whole hunting-for-temp-work-while-waiting-my-clearance has basically devolved into finding two places to send my resume to but mentioning in my cover letter that 'I am just looking for temp work while waiting for my clearance.' Ok, so a major storm passes through. You lose the power to your neighborhood, but no other damage. The worst is over. Just have to wait it out, maybe go visit some friends who do have power. So, I get my first cell bill, expecting around $35. Turns out to be around $75. Look at it. Oh, it is the first prorated month plus the first full month. Ok, so that's about $55 or so. They are also charging for minutes after a bit of time ( Read more... )
